Interdependent – (of two or more people), dependent on each other

Dependent – requiring someone or something for financial, emotional, or other support. Unable to do without.

  1. Can you hear the passing cars, honking as they rush through crowded city streets? French horns and actual car horns make these noises.
  2. Now…can you hear horses, clomping in and around traffic, played by the woodblock? people, rushing by on the sidewalk, played by the xylophone?

  1. Can you hear one cat meowing when it sees the spilled milk? A female opera singer known as a mezzo-soprano sings the first cat.
  2. Now….can you hear a second cat joining in with the first, sung by a soprano opera singer (slightly higher than the first)?
  • the cats hissing when they get too close, also sung by the opera singers
  • the cats purring when their bellies are full, again sung by the opera singers?
