God Wins: God is not in chaos
by Pastor Marie Esposito

GRACE WINS- God is not in chaos- He is in the chaos but He is calm, peaceful and at rest.
The world may be in chaos but God is not.
GRACE WINS.
Believe, have faith, and move into trust
LORD!! Holy Spirit come.
The touchstone of my inner life core is that I am loved by God.
Romans 8:2
the Spirit of life is the HOLY SPIRIT WHO LIVES IN US
2 Corinthians 6:16
Psalm 37:23-24
I heard Holy Spirit sing in my heart:
“Oh no you never let go, through the calm and through the storm, Oh no you never let go, through every high and every low
Oh no you never let go, you never let go of me.”

Dance to the rhythm of His heartbeat, resting in His arms.

Deuteronomy 33:27
GRACE WINS. 4
2 Corinthians 3:17-18-
SPIRAL: An upward and progressive winding in a continuous and gradually widening curve around a central and fixed point in the center, that shows a continuous and dramatic increase.  Winding around a cylinder and at the same time rising or advancing forward.
THE CENTRAL FIXED CYLINDER IS JESUS AND THAT’S US. OUR WALK WITH HIM IS THE SPIRAL… PRESSING ON  IN ANSWER TO AN UPWARD CALL RISING UP AND ADVANCING FORWARD.
GRACE WINS.
Hebrews 6:11-12  11
Hebrews 10:34b-36
HIS IS US! GRACE WINS!
Proverbs 17:22
Proverbs 16:24
Psalm. 30:11-12 “Then he broke through and transformed all my wailing [my lamenting] into a whirling dance of ecstatic praise! He has torn the veil and lifted from me the sad heaviness of mourning. He wrapped me in the glory garments of gladness. Vs.12  How could I be silent when it’s time to praise you? Now my heart sings out loud, bursting with joy—a bliss inside that keeps me singing, “I can never thank you enough!”

Romans 8:28-31 TPT
God has determined to stand with us, tell me,
WHO THEN COULD EVER STAND AGAINST US

COME THOU FOUNT OF EVERY BLESSING,
TUNE MY HEART TO SING THY GRACE
STREAMS OF MERCY NEVER CEASING,
CALLS FOR SONGS OF LOUDEST PRAISE.
GRACE WINS.
TUNE YOUR HEART TO SING HIS GRACE.

The Mystery of Faith

Greeting from Pastor Marie Esposito

The Mystery of Faith

by Pastor Roy Esposito

Two realities that form our life:

  1. To be present in the moment  —  ”Be where your feet are” — Sister  Josephine
  2. Allow distractions to keep us asleep and create the illusion of truth.

Unknowns  — “Mystery”
Mystery  — Things not fully understood
Spiritual Mystery — a reality that’s not apparent through human reasoning and only knowable through divine revelation.

Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)  – “Now faith is the substance ( REALIZATION) of things hoped for, the evidence (CONFIDENCE) in things not seen.”

Passion Bible — “ Faith brings our hope into reality. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.”

Belief transformed into Faith is an empowerment to life.

Habakkuk 2:4  — “ –the righteous shall live by faith.”  – NOT a command but a declaration of TRUTH.

Romans 1:17 (Passion)  “– moves us from receiving life through faith to the power of living by faith.”

Habakkuk 2:4 (Hebrew) — “ The righteous man by his faithfulness, consistency, firmness, belief, and steadfastness — SHALL LIVE”

“If I choose to live only by what I already understand I run the risk of creating a god who looks alot like me.” — PR

Luke 5:1-11 (NKJV)
Vs 1 — Taught the multitudes close to shore
Vs 2  – Two boats —   1. Our way      2.God’s way
Vs 4 — “launch out into the deep”

The blessings won’t be found in the shallow waters of faith. — PR

“Close to the shore”  — staying with what is comfortable and familiar, never really leaving the old ways.

“Launch out” into the deep waters of Faith — of His Presence— of His Word — of Worship — of the Spirit — of Joy  — launch out into the Deep of His Heart.

This is where the blessings and miracles are found!

Vs 6 — the miracle of the fish  – so many that the boat began to sink ( the old ways/life)
Vs 8 — The miracle actually revealed Peter’s true nature to himself
Vs 10 —  “Don’t be afraid.”

Luke 18:8   “Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find Faith on the Earth?”

Psalm 91: The Secret Place

In The Shadow

Encouragement from Pastor Marie

Psalm 91: The Secret Place

by Pastor Roy Esposito

Matthew 13:18-23, 37-38 – Parable of the Seeds

Seeds – hold the potential within themselves to become what God has intended.
Seeds – have a hard shell that must be penetrated for that potential to be released

Matthew 13:19-23 – Seeds are the Word of God

Isaiah 55:11 – Word will not return to God empty and without bearing fruit, It will PROSPER

Parable of the Seed – Jesus suggests that not all seeds will bear fruit.

  1. Wayside – not understood and easily snatched away
  2. Stony – never fully experienced, never takes root; disregarded when trouble comes
  3. Thorns – choked and unfruitful by the cares of  life and ambition
  4. Good soil – hears and understands – is fruitful

How can both these scriptures be true and valid?  A Paradox?

2 Chronicles 20:20 – “Believe in the Lord, your God and be established. Believe in His prophets and you will PROSPER.”

Superior Truth  — God’s Word will always prosper in the big picture but in order for it to prosper in an individual, it must be believed.

Matthew 13:37-38 – “Sons of the Kingdom” -the good seeds who plant Kingdom Fruit – (Galatians 5:22-23)

BELIEVE (Hebrew) – To find “TRUSTWORTHY” – firm, sure, and fixed in our hearts so that we understand that it’s true, faithful, and worthy of our trust.

This is the necessary condition of the heart (good soil) that allows the full potential of the seed to be realized in our lives.

When the Word is received as trustworthy God is able to penetrate our outer shell and unveil its power, favor, glory, and grace which germinates the seed and energizes its full potential.

Using our Faith in His Word, consistently, will cause the life of Christ to be formed in us and we experience it as the resting place of His love which becomes the SOURCE for our life – our SECRET PLACE.

Creating the SECRET PLACE – begins with a desire to know God better and at a deeper level; constantly seeking God’s love, comfort, and protection.

Securing all the promises contained in Psalm 91 are dependent on dwelling and abiding in the Secret Place (Vs 1-3)

Dwell – make a permanent residence
Abide – remain, continue, stay
Refuge – shelter, protection from danger

What is this Secret place?  Where can it be found?  A Physical place?

The secret Place is NOT a time slot! Not a compartment! Not on a schedule!

Psalm 1:2 – “My delight is in the law of the Lord and on it, I meditate day and night.”

Meditate
Western – intellectual
Eastern – empty one’s mind
Biblical – Fill one’s mind with God thoughts replacing the existing toxic thoughts. (2 Corinthians 10:5)

David didn’t have “quiet time” with God – he had a relationship with Him.

His secret place was not an actual place sometimes but an attitude of his heart.

Our Secret Place – a place of “knowing,” trusting where we experience God as worthy of our trust.

It allows us to pull back from the fear and drama of life and find the wisdom we need to neutralize the drama.

Sons of the Kingdom – “Oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord.”  –(Isaiah 61: 3) who are led by the Spirit. (Romans 8:14)

Building Your Secret Place

  1. Renew your mind daily  – (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:23-24, Ephesians 5:26)
  2. Refocus your emotions so that your soul is in full submission to God’s Word.
  3. Give God your all-day-everyday. Erase compartments and time slots.

I know You
Show me your ways
Show me your glory
Exodus 33

2 Corinthians 10:5,6
Obedience to God is of the utmost importance.
Obedience in humility puts you in the place to be able to declare His protection and His Promises in your life which causes you to rise above your circumstances.

Some guidelines:

  1. Pursue the secret place
  2. Rebuke the wind and waves – “Peace be still”
  3. Shake it off and move on –
  4. Keep your vision clear –
  5. Accept His comfort-

A multitude of mercy surrounds you. Melodies of the victorious King of glory are ready to erupt from your heart- Let them come up and sing them out loud in agreement and alignment with His will and direction for your life..

Awake, You Who Sleep!
by Pastor Roy Esposito

Every act of compassion no matter how small or seemingly insignificant holds the potential to help many to the victory .of  an abundant life found in Christ Jesus.” – PR

Our “toys”/idols – rock us to sleep and cause us to stay asleep by offering us temporary relief from reality’s sufferings.

An old saying – “The nature of rain is the same, but it makes thorns grow in marshes and flowers in gardens.”

“I was born asleep, I live asleep, and I will die asleep if not inspired to wake up.” – Anthony De Mello”

It’s only when we become sick of being sick will we seek the “cure” in earnest and wake up!

1 Peter 1:3-9 (NKJV)

Renewed minds in Christ can conquer fear, panic, rage, and greed.

Emotional Disarmament – not denying but laying aside our emotions in order to “see through” problems and not have to “wrestle” with them.

Warriors – sacrifice self-interest for the sake of the greater common good.
Children – demand that their desires be met.

Galatians 6:2 – “Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

The Principal of Impermanence – all things eventually come to an end.

Questions: In what state will I be in when this pandemic ends?
How strong will my faith be?
What will I have faith in?
What will be the depth of my love for others?

Ephesians 6: 8-17
