• Devoted Worship and Praise wipes out self-absorption

• Romans 8:28 – all things work for our good

• Hebrews 12:11 – Chasten – discipline – Training – specialized instruction and practice

• Spiritually Healed – Spiritual Maturity

• Sin (Hebrew) – “to miss the mark” – word implies that many who sin do so because of spiritual immaturity

• Sin causes dislocation – lameness

• Spiritual training produces the Peaceable Fruit of Righteousness

• Galatians 5:22-23 – Fruit of the Spirit- Expressed through godly behavior and godly actions

• Matthew 7:15-20 – Known by their FRUIT

• Jesus’s message was so powerful not just because of its rationality and logic but because it was manifested through His loving actions! – PR

• Hebrews 12:26-28 – A Present Word for the Church – Shaking Heaven as well as Earth

• Luke 21:11; Matthew 24:8; Mark 13:8 – “Labor pains / Birth pangs”

• God is “birthing unshakable maturity” and REMOVING a bunch of unnecessary junk!

• He is HEALING us by MATURING us.
