Open Door – Open Heart

- Revelation 3:8 “I’ve set before you an open door.”
- Doors – are passageways from one place to another.
- Represent – Change or Transition
- We are often the product of the Doors we walk through: they shape who we are
- Tests – are there to help us correct any missteps we might have taken in the past.
- Revelation 2:8-10 – “Teated” – Pie-Rad-Zoe – Which way one is going and what the character of that person is
- Revelation 3:7 – The “Key of David” – a symbol of authority
- Josh 1:2-9
- VS 2 – “Now, therefore, arise and go over this Jordan…”
- “This Jordan” – a symbol of the obstacles and resistance we face along the journey
- VS 3 – TREAD – (Hebrew: Darach) stomp, march – aggressive walk
- Root – “To draw an arrow and bend a bow” Modern Israel.
- “Load your weapons!”
- God: “In every place that you’re willing to load your weapons and take the land – I give you.”
- 2 Corinthians 10:4 – Our weapons are not carnal but spiritual
- Colossian 3:12-13 – Our “weapons.”

- Repentance – Turning from Self-Absorption to Love

- Disobedience – Always leaves Jesus on the other side of the Door
