The Daily Examem – Ignatius of Loyola

  1. Reflect on and acknowledge where God was present to you.
  2. Be grateful for each God encounter. (Consolation or Desolation)
  3. Pay attention to note your emotions (joy, awe, fear etc.) during each encounter
  4. Pick a specific feature of the day and pray for discernment from it.
  5. Look toward tomorrow with expectation b/c “His mercies are knew every morning” – Lamentations 3:22-23
  • Romans 5:1-5(NLT)
  • Mark 5:35-41

“Resting in God” – Allowing yourself to be powered by the internal Presence of God and not the fear that’s generated by the “storms of life.”

 

Matthew 5:9 – “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called Sons of God.”

Consider:  God has not called us to the reasonable or the humanly attainable but to the outrageously impossible!
