Emmanuel! – 27-Dec-2020

The Spirit of Christmas

Encouragement from Pastor Roy

Emmanuel!

by Pastor Marie

Merry Christmas! I hope you all enjoyed celebrating the birth of the Christ Child.
We celebrate the coming of Jesus into the world to be Our Savior and Redeemer and Deliverer.
Savior- Isaiah 43:3
Redeemer-Isaiah 41:14
Deliverer- Romans 11:26
He is EMMANUEL: God  with us.
Please remember to have a time of solitude every day for refreshing, restoration, and rejuvenation.
Rejuvenation- the process of making one look or feel better, more energetic, and vital.
Worship God. Praising God opens the gate of  heaven and we can enter that gate.
We have the good news of the gospel in our hearts which anchors us to a radiant hope and a plan of redemption.

God reveals Himself to us and His character is opened to us when He comes in response to a need or to clarify a set of circumstances, we may find ourselves engaged in.  He is always desiring to reveal to us His love, His forgiveness, and His desire to bless us.
Matthew 1:23
Isaiah 7:14
Immanuel – God is with us
Isaiah 9:6-7  Wonderful , Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
Psalm 46:1,2
Zephaniah 3:17
Step back and Take a breath and feel loved by Your Beautiful Savior!

Potentiality – 13-Dec-2020

The Road Not Taken

Encouragement by Pastor Roy

Potentiality

by Pastor Marie Esposito

Philippians 3:14

Potential generally refers to a currently unrealized ability to become something.

Romans 12:1-2  “1 I  beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” 2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

By following this process of renewing our minds we are able to reinstate God’s original INTENTION for us which is the RECOVERY of many POTENTIALITIES  of the human mind and soul according to HIS DESIGN BEFORE THE FALL.

Because of His mercies and only by His power…the power of the redemption of His blood…can we do this.

‘Transformed’- (Greek: metamorphousthe) having a change of heart. A metamorphosis…

‘Conformed’ easily swayed “like a leaf blown about by the wind.”

REDEMPTION’S PROVISION OF POWER

This POWER TRANSFORMS OUR THOUGHTS… which lead to a change in our purposes… which leads to a change in our actions… which leads to changes in our habits… which sets the course for the future.

Jeremiah 29:11

Psalms 91:9,10

GOD IS GOOD.

“God of all comfort, Father of mercies, Who heals all my diseases.” has become a song that I sing in my spirit.

GOD’S INTENTION is to draw us into loving intimacy with Himself and to step into the realm of His glory where abundance and all good things are.

HIS POTENTIAL in us.

“The outline of His intention is the finishing line He intends us to reach.” G Cooke

God of all comfort, Father of mercies, who heals all our diseases, we love You.

Thanksgiving Thoughts

Thanksgiving Thoughts From Pastor Roy
  • From the comic strip “Mutts” – “I don’t have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness – it’s right in front of me if I’m paying attention and practicing gratitude.
  • A present Word: “Without gratitude, there can be no optimism.  Without optimism, there can be no hope.  “Hope deferred makes the heart sick.” (Prov 13:12)
  • Romans 10:17 – “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
  • Hebrews 11:6 – Faith to please God – rewarded by seeking Him diligently
  • Psalms 78: 1-4, 6-8,29,33
  • ”His Salvation” – separates us from our lusts; sexual, misused gifts, corrupted feelings, and thoughts – SELF-ABSORBTION
  • Blinded by lust – cannot see or hear God >>>> decline into confusion causing thoughts to become senseless.
  • All because they chose to COMPLAIN and were not THANKFUL
  • Complaining is the OPPOSITE of thankfulness!
  • Francis Frangipane – “Every word spoken in a complaint as un-thankfulness is a spark lit by hell, sent to feed upon and consume our joy and destroy our HOPE.”
  • H.W. Beecher – “A proud man is seldom a grateful man, for he never gets as much as he thinks he deserves.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18(NKJV & TPT) – “RejoicePray – Give Thanks IN everything
  • “When God gives us less than we think we deserve, He’s not teaching us that poverty is a virtue, but that thankfulness for what He’s already supplied is the key that unlocks the full potential of His grace through which we can do ALL things.”

Labyrinth of Life in the Spirit

by Pastor Marie Esposito

Labyrinth of Life in the Spirit by Pastor Marie Esposito

As we move forward and mature on our journey, there are two basic truths that we can rely on as we walk in the labyrinth of life in the Spirit.

There is a witness between the Sword and the Spirit. The Word and the Holy Voice.

Labyrinths have one continuous path, with twists and turns, simple or complex, which leads to the center.

We mix the Word with our faith, which is the victory that overcomes the world. The prophetic word we hear, [the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking in our inner man] is as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the Morning Star rises in your hearts…with the revelation of the Living Christ. Ever increasing as we immerse ourselves in the Spirit.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17
  • Psalm 119:89
  • Psalm 119:130
  • Genesis 2:7
  • John 20:22

Jesus is the Living Rhema and the Living Logos.

  • John 1:1-4,14
  • Revelation 19:13

God is alive and as He cannot be separated from His Word, therefore, His Word is alive. It breathes as He breathes.

  • John 6:63
  • Hebrews 4:12
  • I Corinthians 2:12

OVERCOMERS IN  THIS LIFE,
MORE THAN CONQUERORS

There is a Balance between the LIVING WORD and the LIVING SPIRIT.
We don’t want to become lopsided in our faith.

  • Jeremiah 1:11,12 Jeremiah ‘SAW’ AND HEARD

LET’S WALK CLOSER AND CLOSER TO OUR CENTER, AND BREATHE HIS LIFE INTO OUR HEARTS AND THEN OUT TO A WORLD THAT NEEDS THE REAL JESUS.

Unfolding Faith

By Pastor Roy Esposito

– 2 Peter 1:2-8

Mark 3:13 (NKJV)  – He calls – Disciples come!

2 Peter 1:5  –Brian Simmons notes from Passion version:

“Out of your Faith will emerge>> Goodness >> Understanding of God >> Inner strength (self-control) >> Patient Endurance >> Godliness >> Mercy torwads others >> LOVE

-The Passion Bible; Brian Simons

                                   Mathematical Equation

Faith + Goodness = Understanding

Understanding + Goodness  = Inner strength (Self-Control)

Understanding + Inner strength = Patience

Inner strength + Patience = Godliness

Patience + Godliness = Mercy

Godliness + Mercy = LOVE

1 John 4:7, 15-17  – God IS Love!

2 Peter 1:8 — These virtues are ALREADY planted deep within us

2 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)  – His divine power has given us ALL that pertains to life and godliness.
Ephesians 5:14Awake you who sleep”
